At its Jan. 14 meeting, the School Board of the City of Virginia Beach elected Kathleen Brown as chair and Carolyn Weems as vice chair. Brown has served on the School Board for two years and Weems for 22 years.

VBCPS Counseling Mission
The mission of the Virginia Beach City Public Schools Middle School Counseling Program is to partner with parents, community, faculty and staff to provide a comprehensive developmental counseling program addressing the academic, career and personal/social development of all students thus preparing them with the knowledge and skills to be productive members of society.
